My Vexing Layout.

Wargh... I should get a hold to my self. Can't I stay with a layout more than a month? I am now wondering how to organize the bottom black layer of this current layout (welcome the light) but I don't know what to do with it. I just felt something was wrong. And wondering the thing I should change, I just made a conclusion that I could just change everything.

A new layout. I wonder how should I do it. Should it be another single column layout or should I try to adopt phpnuke style and make it a 3 column layout. Or I could also made it 2 column above and one column at the bottom. Uhuk... To many choices, yet I am not "that" good. Can I really do the things that came in my mind? I wonder...

I am currently browsing zens garden layouts for "the road to enlightenment". Haha... Seriously some of the design there really is interesting.

But really, do I have the time to create a whole new design, or should I just alter my current one. But I think this layout is to bright for me... Wahahahahhaahhahaha *evil laugh*

Rest, is it just a word or is it something we all do.
How will we know when we are resting?

provoking the peace from the only time we try to rest,

Aku Bosan...

Argh.... Aku tak tau kenapa, malam ini aku rasa kosong. Ya, walaupun selepas post terakhir itu, dan selepas melayari internet, aku masih kekosongan. Munkin aku patut mencari sesuatu untuk menggembirakan hati ini. Hari ini bermula seperti hari-hari yang biasa ku lalui, tapi entah mengapa, bila malam menjelang, hatiku pilu, hatiku sayu. Mungkin kerana mood ku telah merudum setelah melihat file yang aku tidak sempat aku buat salinan, hilang dari komputer ini. Ah... itu bukan alasan, aku masih boleh muat turun file itu semula.

Jadi mengapa? Mengapa malam ini perasaaan ku tidak tenteram, hatiku membara tanpa ada yang membakar. Aku perlukan sesuatu untuk melepaskan kemarahan ini, kemarahan yang tidak ku tahu puncanya. Ya... mana mungkin dapat kupadamkan api, jika aku tidak tahu apa yang terbakar. Jika aku telefon bomba sekalipun, panggilan ku itu akan dianggap panggilan palsu, gurauan budak hingusan yang cuba bermain api.

Mungkin dengan coretan ini baraan itu boleh mula menyejukkan dirinya. Mungkin coretan ini boleh mejadi karbon dioksida yang menghalang oksigen dari terus menyemarakkan api itu. Mungkinkah? Mungkin Tidak....

My Current Layout - Welcome The Light

Wandering around, I just realized that I didn't even introduced my current layout.

I named this layout "Welcome the Light" because this design is too bright on top. Yeah, I don't really know why, but I tend to design my blogger a little contradict with my usual design which is dark and creepy. Well, to tell you the truth, I actually have a couple of darker pre-design I made, but I don't feel like using them. Maybe my blog really welcomes the light.

The "beta" name for this layout was actually "sincall". Why? Because I feel Like it. Hehe... Actually, thats what first came in my mine when I'm saving my html file. Maybe at that time I was actually going for a dark theme. At first I was making a 2 column layout like an ordinary blogger layout but after a few consideration (I seen a cool 1 column blogger layout) I made up my mind to make this a 1 column layout which is actually a popular style used for wordpress theme.

The Header for this layout was actually a photoshopped picture of a coconut tree in front of my house. I picked it, at random when I was browsing for picture tu be use. Its an old pictures, but some how, I see it fit to be the header.

As image I used for my header is mine and I actually code it from scratch, I can proudly announced that all content for this layout (except for the blogger addons), is mine... Hahahahhahaha (Laughing in a very obsessive manners) :P

This layout is not completed yet, and it will never be. I will frequently add anything I want or edit anything I don't like until I am not using this anymore. So expect changes from time to come....

2 days offline and a new blogger layout.

Due to some difficulties I had 2 days of network problem and I couldn't get online. And during those 2 days, I actually made another layout for blogger based on what I have made before this current layout. I have striped all the image from the layout and now its a fully Color Customiseble Layout. You can actually change almost all the color easyly in the "font and colors" tab in blogger control panel. But for now, only the colors. I haven't set so that it is font customiseble yet.

Byethost - The Free Webhost

byethost.com...

The webhost has been in one of my post a long-long time ago. I have said I would recommend it to those who want a free working webhost that support php and mysql to test and try their site. I said it is best for testing as it has a force google add on top of your page and that can cripple ypur site looks. But I have checked it again and walla they have trashed the google add and now they are a free add-free webhost with some intresting plans.

So just to see if this is worth the time signing in (or I could say I just want to waste some time) of course, I resign-in (my old account still have adds in it).


Ok, first the good thing about this webhost.

They say they'll give you about 100mb-200mb (according to plans you chose) of webspace which is plenty, 20gb-30gb bandwith per month, and bla-bla stuff (see the plans).

They give us 2 sql database which is neat as you can use 1 for your site and another one to dump all your test site database. They gave 20 subdomain which I think I will talk more in the bad stuff about this webhost. Ftp trasfer is also allowed here.

They have automatic installer script deployment tool which is something like fantastico that will automaticly setup cms script to your site. They have the usual cms like php nuke, mambo, xoop, wordpress, coopermine and lots more that I have forgotten and the install is a breeze.


well I dont realy one to write the good things actually... :P So here came...
The Dark side of it..

Okay, the first thing I do is I check the control panel. Well its a little to clowded I see. But It might be a good thing as they offer many service.

Next I try to establish ftp connection and it somehow failed (this might be because my internet connection though). I somehow manage to get connect after a few trial and a few ftp client test.
I don't want to put anything yet so I just look around.

Then I tried using automatic installer script deployment tool and I tried to install wordpress (I don't know why I'm realy intrested with wordpress) and yeah, it only take minutes to work. Even they only serve wordpress 2.0.5 riht now while the latest stable version is 2.0.6, but this can be easyly upgraded via ftp. It save the trouble to ftp all the wordpress file which can take hours (maybe). Wait this is a good things? why is it under the dark side. LOL... beats me. Okay, I dont want to rewrite the post so this auto install thinggi is actually a good thing. But somehow, when I tried to install coopermine, which is a gallery script, it does't work. I dont want to try everything there so I leave it as it is.

The real turn off of this automatic installer script deployment tool is that I can only install it under my main domain which is mynick.byethost9.com while it allows us to creat other sob domain with diferent domains (eg. anything.66khz.com). The newly created subdomain will be a new folder in the root directory and I can't actually install those script in here. I tried installing it to the main subdomain(directory) and move it to the other subdomain via its web file manager but gives time-out half way. Well I don't realy know how to bypass this exept to put a redirecting index.html in the new subdomain directory.


Final Words..

Well overall this is still a good FREE webhost if you want to try one, and it doesn't give as much time-outs as 110mb.com. Don't take my word on it though, you should try it both...

A Free Webhost and A Wordpress Site

Yesterday, I got nothing to do and out of boredome I crawl about some free webhost. The other webhost with php support that I have stumbled so far either with banner add, don't realy work or need posting to signup. I mannage to sucessfully try 2 host with banner adds which is byethost.com (Checked! It said no more banner adds, but I I'll check later) and php-something (I forgot, lol...)

Searching around, without realy intended to find anything, I stumbled upon 110mb.com. It says, free, no adds, supported by big company and som bla-bla stuff that I dont realy care to read at that time. But having nothing to do I sign up.

Everything looks prommising, A clean control panel, webbase file manager and ftp access, 10mb maximum file size. I check the forum up and it seems to be a very active one, with good support from the moderators. They even ask what we want to see in their service. I browse around and see good thing to come.

With high hope, I downloaded a copy of Wordpress cms and ftped it to the server. Well, It took hours to upload about 300 pieces of its file to the server with the slow connection I'm having now. And after a few time outs, reconnecting, I manage to get it all up and working.

I haven't realy use Wordpress actually, so I need some time getting to know it. I've browse around and thats end up yesterdays session.

Today, I've download a theme to be use on it. But jeng jeng jeng... The dark side of the webhost shows it self (or I thought so). It gives me to many time out when I tried to access the site which I don't have yesterday. The site is just like an old biscuits advert, "kejap ader, Kejap takder". I can't even log in through ftp. I don't realy know if it is the servers fault or my internet line is being a bi**h. I tried to use proxy and manage to get a couple of page opened from the site before it refuse to showed up on my browser again. Maybe it is my line's fault.

Back To the webhost, I think it's a good free webhost so far (taking the connection aside). Well, it's free, you shouldn't ask much. It probably host thousands of account on a server. Its good enought to serve updated php and mysql. So, I'll try to bare with it for a while (since I have to get the hang on Wordpress to).

Lastly said, its a good webhost, and I would recomend it to be tried if you are looking fo a free, addfree webhost.

Argh.... *Layout Pain*

So... I'm currently trying to figure out how to customize my logger layout (finaly) and if anyone viewing now would see that it is kinda suck. Hehe... I made this without anything in mind actually, I just run my Photoshop and just do anything that came in my mind and the last thing I do is the shadow thinggi and so came the header.

I have put in the codes for blogger widget stuff but now I have to figure out how to format the font. I don't know why some of the font (the navigation) goes center while I don't even assign it. My eyes are kinda blury now so I will stop staring at the codes for a while.
